MHSU Clinician, Masters - Community Mental Health & Substance Use Services (White Rock)

Detailed Overview

In accordance with Fraser Health’s Vision, Mission and Values, the Mental Health & Substance Use program mandates and clinical practice guidelines, this role emphasizes recovery, rehabilitation and reducing barriers to re‑enter the system of care. The clinician supports individuals and families affected by acute or episodic mental illness and substance use disorders, delivering intensive individual and group therapy, liaison services, and care coordination across the local service continuum to ensure timely, relevant treatment, rapid re‑engagement and access to information.

Responsibilities

• Provide treatment and support for complex situations, including clients in crisis, and collaborate on recovery‑oriented treatment options.
• Deliver short‑term brief interventions, ongoing monitoring, and evaluate treatment outcomes.
• Conduct individual, group and family therapy using a trauma‑informed, evidence‑based approach.
