Nurse Practitioner (RPT 0.4 FTE)

Duties

• Perform comprehensive mental and physical assessments for patients admitted to The Royal.
• Integrate clinical findings informed by evidence-based practice to formulate diagnoses and develop initial care plans.
• Monitor medical complications and conditions related to psychopharmacological medication use.
• Collaborate with patients and interdisciplinary team members to identify pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to provide preventative medicine to ROHCG patients.
• Conduct routine physical health reviews and ongoing assessments.
• Provide metabolic clinical oversight related to psychotropic medications.
• Offer consultative support services to staff, extended healthcare teams, local hospitals, and health units.
• Fulfill Medical Officer responsibilities during outbreaks.
