The Cowichan Maternity Clinic specializes in antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum services, with a caseload of approximately 250 deliveries annually. You'll collaborate with six skilled Family Physicians and three registered midwives to enhance women's health. Our practice supports education through undergraduate and postgraduate training while focusing on Indigenous health within the community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care
• Participate in a multidisciplinary team for OB services
• Conduct midwife home visits during postpartum
• Supervise medical students and Family Medicine residents
• Share on-call duties within the team
