Caretaker I – On Call Casual

On call casual positions of Caretaker I for the school year for the Chestermere Area. Candidates must be available at least 8 instructional days per month, be accessible by telephone and internet, provide their own transportation, and be available for an interview. These positions do not qualify for benefits or sick leave.

Responsibilities

• Ability to work independently and perform assigned tasks within a team environment
• Routine cleaning
• Attention to detail related to varied and complex cleaning tasks
• Keep assigned sidewalks, steps, and entrances free from ice and snow
• Demonstrate pride in workmanship
• Experience working in accordance with Occupational Health & Safety, WHMIS and other relevant legislation
• Perform building security checks as scheduled by the Head Building Operator
• Positive references
