Description
The Sessional Lecturer will teach 25% (three lectures) of the one-half credit course, CMSD 6440: Noise in Industry and the Community, in the Master of Science program in audiology at the School of Communication Sciences and Disorders during the fall term September to December 2026.
Responsibilities include course planning and classroom teaching, as well as marking assignments as required. The Sessional Lecturer will coordinate with the Professor of Record of this course and report to the Director of the School.
This course covers a wide range of issues in industrial audiology. It acquaints students with principles of noise measurement and analysis, updated studies on noise induced hearing loss, and hearing conservation programs.
