Pest Control Technician

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest infestations.
• Determine the type of pest and the extent of the infestation.
• Develop and implement effective pest control strategies and treatment plans.
• Apply pesticides and other pest control products in accordance with safety guidelines.
• Seal off entry points to prevent future infestations.
• Educate customers on pest prevention techniques and provide recommendations for maintaining a pest‑free environment.
• Maintain accurate records of services provided and complete necessary paperwork.

Skills

• Sales: Ability to effectively communicate with customers, upsell services, and generate new business leads.
• Hand tools: Skilled in the use of hand tools for tasks such as setting traps, applying pesticides, or performing minor repairs.
