Join our dynamic team at the University of Ottawa Medical Associates (UMA) in the Division of Gastroenterology as a Physician Assistant. The role consists of practitioner, consultant, and educator, functioning as a member of the interdisciplinary care team delivering patient care and collaborating with attending gastroenterologists specializing in Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD).

Responsibilities

• Provide consultation to patients in an outpatient clinic setting with a diagnosis of Inflammatory Bowel Disease.
• Conduct history and physical examination.
• Complete consultation reports to referring physicians.
• Review prescriptions of appropriate medications and interventions.
• Provide patient education.
• Arrange for services and follow‑up as appropriate.
• All consultations and reports are reviewed with the attending gastroenterologist.
