Join our team as an Equipment Operator specializing in sewer and watermain construction throughout Greater Vancouver. Embrace a role focused on trenching and pipe installation.
We are recruiting for an Equipment Operator with previous experience in sewer and watermain systems. The position will require seasonally specific tasks, such as trenching, pipe-laying, and back-filling/restoration. You will receive training on our unique shoring system and operate various machinery, including large excavators and dozers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate various size excavators from 320-349
• Manage wheel loaders (930-950 sizes) during projects
• Utilize bull dozers (D3-D8 sizes) for site preparation
• Read and interpret blueprints for construction activities
• Conduct trenching, pipe-laying, and restoration tasks
Requirements:
• At least 1 year of Operator experience with water systems
• Must read and understand blueprints
• Legally authorized to work in Canada
