Power System Engineer

Overview

The IESO is committed to ensuring Ontario’s electricity system meets the province’s needs today and into the future. We oversee the provincial power grid in real‑time, govern Ontario’s electricity market, and engage with government, municipalities and Indigenous communities.

The role is within the Connection Assessments team in the Markets and Reliability Business Unit. It is a unionized position that focuses on evaluating new, modified, or retiring connections to the grid to ensure reliability, adequacy and operability.
