Job Overview

The Myrtle Philip Community Centre is a licensed childcare facility seeking a Program Leader for the summer months, with potential to continue into the fall. The role reports to the Recreation Programmer and offers a variable schedule of up to 80 hours bi‑weekly starting as soon as possible.

Schedule

• Summer camp shifts: 8:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
• Afterschool shifts: 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. (Monday–Friday)
• Early years summer camp: 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Responsibilities

The Program Leader will create, implement, and facilitate daily activities for preschool, after‑school care, and summer camp programs for children aged 2½ to 12 years. The Program Leader will directly supervise the children to ensure a safe and positive learning environment.
