Position Summary

Full service psychiatry consultant position for a 23‑bed Schedule One Facility. Works collaboratively with family physicians, community mental health programs, and community agencies. Provides assessment and treatment of mental illnesses through psychotherapy, ECT, hospitalization, medication, and offers ongoing teaching opportunities.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

On‑Call:

• Provision of on‑call services based at OSMH (1 in 4) with support from mental health hospitalists and crisis intervention staff

In‑Patient:

• Consultation for OSMH credentialed staff and regional partners
• Participation and cooperation as a contributing team member

Out‑Patient:

• Provision of out‑patient consultations
