Quality Engineer (Pressure Vessels)

Job Summary

The Quality Engineer (Pressure Vessels) oversees quality activities at fabrication sites in the Oil and Gas sector and may manage a small team of third‑party inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate quality inspection and testing activities.
• Plan, schedule, assign, and monitor work for Quality Inspectors.
• Raise and follow up resolution of Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs).
• Expedite fabricator activities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable industry codes and standards and Project Specifications.
• Coordinate Mechanical Completion (MC) and Closing of Inspection Test Reports (ITR) on time.
• Review and approve supplier quality documents such as ITPs, fabrication and NDT procedures, NDT reports, etc.
• Oversee compilation and review Manufacturing Record Books (MRB) by suppliers.
