Refrigeration Mechanic

Your Opportunity:

Reporting to the Facility Manager and working under limited supervision, this position performs journeyman level repairs and maintenance on refrigeration and air conditioning systems. The role requires independent judgment, technical expertise, and adherence to applicable specifications, drawings, codes, and departmental policies. The primary work location is the Royal Alexandra Hospital. However, the incumbent may be assigned to other sites within the zone as needed, including multi-site duties as directed by the FM&E Director or Management.
Perform repairs, maintenance, and adjustments on hospital refrigeration and air conditioning equipment in compliance with current codes and hospital quality and safety standards.
Diagnose equipment issues, disassemble components, redesign or repair malfunctioning parts, and reassemble systems.
