Employment Counsel – Mexico and Latin America

The Employment Counsel- Mexico and Latin America is an experienced labor & employment lawyer, responsible for Orbia’s employment law function in Mexico and Latin America. Reporting to Orbia’s Global Head of Labor and Employment, you will serve as a key legal partner and resource for the Legal teams and People teams across all of Orbia’s business groups in Mexico and Latin America.

What you’ll do

• Provide timely and practical legal advice to meet the labor/employment legal needs of a global company.
• Provide day-to-day advice and guidance to People Team members and business leaders in Mexico and Latin America on a variety of employment topics, including hiring, performance management, employee relations, leaves of absence and accommodations, workplace safety issues, discipline and termination, compensation, benefits, and union/labor relations....
