Black Engineers of Canada (BEC) is a nonprofit professional organization dedicated to creating a safe, empowering environment where Black engineers can grow, thrive, and become the best version of themselves. We uplift the Black engineering community—including youth and aspiring engineers—by advocating for equitable opportunities, improving living conditions, and promoting mental wellbeing. Our work includes mentorship programs, networking events, educational initiatives, safe spaces for meaningful dialogue, and research that drives impact.
