Registered Cardiology Technologist Advanced - Diagnostic Imaging (Sydney)

About the Opportunity

The Registered Cardiology Technologist will perform noninvasive cardiac diagnostic tests including Electrocardiograms, Signal Average Electrocardiograms, Ambulatory Monitoring (Holter Scanning/Interpretation, Event Loop Recorder) and physician‑assisted Exercise Tolerance Testing (Stress Testing). The technologist will prepare patients for ambulatory monitoring, stress and tilt‑table testing, perform stress tests under direct supervision of the Cardiologist, and precept/mentor new learners in the department. Travel to other sites may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform noninvasive cardiac diagnostic tests (ECGs, signal‑averaged ECGs, Holter scanning/interpretation, event loop recorder, stress testing).
• Prepare patients for ambulatory monitoring and stress/tilt test procedures.
• Assist in pacemaker/ICD clinics.
• Precept and mentor new learners in the department.
• Travel to other sites as required...
