Job Summary

We are currently hiring for a Relief Full Time Registered Nurse (RN), NICU to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team at Royal Columbian Hospital located in New Westminster, B.C. This position is available until approximately July 2027 or until the return of the incumbent.

Responsibilities

1. Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and identify risk factors in newborns on admission and at regular intervals. Provide assessment data and outcomes to primary care providers, specialists and the interdisciplinary team, and initiate discussions to determine optimal care planning for newborns. Diagnose actual or potential problems and strengths, plan interventions, perform interventions, and evaluate outcomes.
