Registered Nurse (RN) - Part-time 0.8 (Elmsdale)

Position: Registration Nurse – Visiting Nursing (Part-Time, 0.8 FTE)

Location: Truro, Colchester & East Hants County, Nova Scotia

Responsibilities

Provide medical care to children, youth, adults, and seniors in their homes and other community settings across Nova Scotia.

• Diabetes management
• Dialysis
• IV medications
• IV/CVAD care
• Palliative care
• Phlebotomy
• Wound care, including negative pressure wound therapy and complex wounds
• and much more

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Nova Scotia
• Experience in community health considered an asset
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle access
• Current satisfactory Criminal Record Check (and Vulnerable Sector Search or Child Abuse Registry Check if required)
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE)
