Treaty #3 Tourism Strategy – Due July 24, 2026

Grand Council Treaty #3 (GCT#3) is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) to select a consultant or firm to develop a comprehensive, community‑driven Tourism Strategy that supports long‑term, sustainable economic development while honouring Anishinaabe culture, language, governance systems and relationships to the land.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive, nation‑wide Treaty #3 Tourism Strategy that identifies priority tourism opportunities while safeguarding cultural values, sacred sites, and community interests.
  • Engage and collaborate with all 28 Treaty #3 First Nations through meaningful sessions that gather local knowledge, assess community readiness, and map tourism assets across all Four Directions.
