Respiratory Therapist II

Your Opportunity:

This is an advanced technical position providing Calgary-wide clinical assistance to Anesthesiologists both in the operating room and in off-site surgical facilities. The Respiratory Therapist II will work collaboratively with the operating room team to perform and assist with advanced respiratory procedures (such as airway management, laryngoscopy, endotracheal intubation, drug preparation, peripheral venous cannulation, blood salvaging, arterial line insertion, and arterial blood gas sampling & analysis) for patients requiring/under anesthesia. You will also be responsible for daily set-up and verification of anesthetic machines and equipment.
