BWXT Nuclear Energy Canada Inc. (BWXT NEC) seeks an experienced Senior Buyer to support its Fuel Handling and Engineered Solutions group. The role involves purchasing high‑value, complex commodities and services on behalf of the company while ensuring cost, quality and delivery excellence.

Responsibilities

• Commodities & Services Purchasing: Acquire assigned commodities and services; obtain vendor quotations; review and analyze quotes for clarity and accuracy of technical and commercial items.
• Source Qualified Suppliers: Engage with suppliers to stay current on capabilities; investigate new manufacturing applications; interview vendors’ senior management; develop strategic procurement plans and new vendor relationships considering technical, market, commercial, scheduling and quality factors.
