Overview

The organization has been in operation since 1987 and partners with over 700 healthcare providers to share insights and improve health system safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Review initial documentation, apply legal/claims analysis, set and amend reserves.
• Instruct adjuster/lawyer on a continuing basis; settle, deny, or defend decisions.
• Ensure required information and evidence is collected, preserved, and authorized for mediation and pre‑trial expenses.
• Conduct negotiations with plaintiff counsel, mediators, pre‑trial judges, and claimants.
• Make settlement decisions up to the posted reserve of assigned claims; authorize settlement payments.
