Senior Commissioning Technologist

Role

Reporting to the Commissioning Manager, the Senior Commissioning Technologist is responsible for commissioning and testing primary and secondary power equipment in the field, including maintaining medium to high-voltage substation power delivery equipment such as breakers, switchgears, circuit breakers, relays, and transformers. The Sr. Commissioning Technologist also mentors and educates junior technologists, reads and interprets prints, applies Risk Management and industry best practices, and leads the setup and operation of standard and specialized test equipment to diagnose and analyze the performance of power delivery equipment on the job site.
