GEV Wind Power is looking for a Senior Large Corrective Exchange Technician to enhance wind farm operations in the U.S. and Canada. This impactful role prioritizes safety in component exchanges.
In this senior technician role, you will be responsible for executing significant component exchanges and ensuring adherence to quality protocols. Your skills in mechanical maintenance, crane operations, and team collaboration are critical to maintaining wind turbine performance while traveling to various project sites.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate major component swaps including hubs and generators
• Coordinate crane operations and planning for lifts
• Disassemble and reassemble turbine parts per OEM guidelines
• Conduct inspections for wear and damage
• Ensure comprehensive service documentation
