Speech Language Pathologist Assistant

Full-time (1.0 FTE) position to work in Whitecourt, Edson, and Slave Lake for the School Year, commencing August 24, 2026.

Successful Candidate Responsibilities

• Provides targeted, and individualized supports and services in all eight divisional schools under the direction of the Speech Language Pathologist
• Supports and develops a strength-based model of services.
• Promotes engagement and participation in literacy and numeracy by reducing barriers to learning.
• Collaborates with the members of the inclusive education team at each school.
• Delivers supports and services in the Division's geographic areas: Whitecourt (Ecole St. Anne School (JK-3), Ecole St. Mary School (4-6) and Ecole St. Joseph School (7-12); Across the Waters Outreach (7-12)), Edson (Vanier Community Catholic Sch...
