Sr. Java Developer
Description
**Role: Sr. Java Developer**
**Location: Remote**
**Duration: contract**
**Must Have Skills**:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience developing backend / middleware systems, using Java language.
- Understanding of common Java frameworks (Tomcat, JiBX, Log4j, GWT).
- Familiarity with Linux environments and bash scripting.
- Solid understanding of Git and CI/CD pipelines. Experience setting up / configurating complex jobs in Jenkins
- Ability to work and communicate with Remote team members in different timezones
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
**Nice to Have Skills**:
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform services and terraform.
- Working knowledge of distributed cache solutions.
- Working knowledge of message queuing services such as IBM MQ.
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform is highly desirable.
- Understanding of regular expressions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
