Description

Our client, a civil engineering and construction company, is looking for a Structural Engineer, (50% site work and 50% office work).

Design access structures and installation plans, and custom parts as needed;
Prepare calculation notes;
Inspect structures before use and prepare letters of compliance;
Assist in R & D to create new products and improve designs;
Participate in the bidding phase with the sales department;
Attend preliminary project visits and meetings as needed, analyze site surveys and participate in preliminary designs and ensure project feasibility;
Coordinate and conduct resistance tests;
Develop safety systems for certain projects;
Work closely with all departments.
Requirements:
Bachelor in Civil Engineering, OIQ member;
5 to 10 years of experience in structural design or temporary structures;
