Student Wellness Navigator for Athletes

Support student-athletes at the University of Guelph as a Student Wellness Navigator. This role offers proactive wellness support, addressing mental health and social determinants.
As part of the Student Wellness Services team, you will provide relationship-based support for student-athletes facing personal, social, and mental health challenges. Your role involves assessment, early intervention, and direct collaboration with students to identify their needs and facilitate pathways to care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as the first point of contact for student-athletes
• Collaborate with administration, coaches, and staff
• Conduct screenings and brief assessments for mental health
• Act as a liaison to on- and off-campus resources
• Promote awareness of Student Wellness Services
Requirements:
• University degree in social work or related field
