Supportive Roommate

Position Summer

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Supportive Roommate to provide full‑time residential support to a 41‑year‑old individual with complex developmental and mental health needs. The individual has been diagnosed with Pervasive Developmental Disorder (PDD), moderate developmental disability, epilepsy, obsessive‑compulsive behaviours, and anxiety. He requires structured and consistent support to maintain daily routines and overall well‑being.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will provide daily support, including but not limited to:

• Prompting and assisting with personal care routines such as:
• Showering
• Oral hygiene
• Changing clothing
• Providing verbal reminders and occasional hands‑on (hand‑over‑hand) support
• Assisting with:
• Meal preparation
• Household chores
• Financial management
