Technical Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop Solar PV design/construction packages including solar array layouts, electrical SLD, DC collection systems, collection system studies (Cable Ampacity, Power Losses), and equipment installation details for Utility Scale Solar PV systems (5-500MW+).
• Perform analysis and evaluations to determine the most cost-effective DC Collection System designs for Utility Scale Solar PV Systems (5-500MW+).
• Support development of early‑stage projects with conceptual designs and material take‑offs (pre‑LNTP).
• Manage external subcontractors for other adjacent services.
• Interact directly with clients for successful project execution.
• Use Excel spreadsheets, commercial and proprietary engineering software to design Solar PV systems.
• Potential site visits to gather notes and take pictures of existing conditions to aid design and identify critical flaws.
