Technical Specialist - Electrical (Dartmouth)

Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada – Hybrid: majority of time in the Halifax dockyard, remaining time at home or Thales office.

Position Summary

The Technical Specialist – Electrical supports the Royal Canadian Navy Arctic and Offshore Patrol Vessels (AOPV) and Joint Support Ship (JSS) class vessels under the AJISS contract. The incumbent works with the Service Delivery and Engineering teams to conduct corrective maintenance, manage engineering changes, oversee certification, and implement planned maintenance for electrical systems. Frequent liaison with ship staff, Fleet Maintenance Facilities, OEMs, and Service Providers is required.

• Conduct investigations aboard ship or using the Technical Document Package (TDP).
