Terrestrial Biologist / Ecologist (Oakville)

Parsons has been a leader in the planning, design and delivery of transportation infrastructure across the world for more than 75 years. We are looking for an experienced terrestrial biologist with strong client relationships to add to our Infrastructure team in the Greater Toronto Region.

Flexible work options include offices in Toronto, Markham, London, Oakville, and remote work from home.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of field and office tasks requiring the application of complex scientific principles and fundamental theories.
• Undertake and participate in biological field investigations and data collection (e.g., breeding bird and amphibian surveys, bat acoustic surveys, vegetation inventories and tree surveys, wildlife and species at risk surveys, Ecological Land Classification assessment, wetland evaluations, and fisheries assessments) following established protocols.
