TESOL Ministry

Through teaching English in Asia-Oceania, the TESOL Specialist will support the local church, make connections and engage in outreach to communities of unreached people.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and teach well developed and engaging lessons
• Effectively and appropriately differentiate instruction to accommodate students with a wide range of English language skills
• Select and sequence appropriate materials, resources, and approaches according to the learners
• Engage in study of Asia-Oceania language and strive for a basic level of proficiency (short term worker) or a high level of proficiency (long term worker)
• Support the local church in their outreach events through the use of English teaching
• Support the general ministry of the field
• Weave the compassion of Christ into all tasks
