- Job Details
- Operate CT equipment (CT scanner, Power Injector, Laser Printer, Patient monitoring devices) to acquire diagnostic images for physician use in diagnosis and treatment.
- Float among radiology clinics and divisions associated with Brigham & Women's Hospital as needed.
- Prepare, position, immobilize patients and use protective shielding as needed during imaging.
- Select proper imaging factors and image designated body portions.
- Explain exams to patients considering physical and emotional needs; maintain ethical standards including patient confidentiality and professional conduct.
- Deliver patient care under scope of license/training.
- Maintain effective communication with departmental and hospital personnel.
