VDC Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Be a part of a project team working in a fast paced environment with project managers, superintendents, and engineers
• Collaborate with VDC Leadership team to build and manage a BIM Execution Plan and VDC implementation strategy
• Understand the owner BIM / Exchange Information Requirements (EIR) and use a custom suite of software tools to prepare model‑based deliverables
• Have the freedom and creativity to develop project specific workflows that utilize BIM data for estimating, logistics, planning, scheduling (4D), coordination, field layout, and facilitate management
• Develop solutions with the project stakeholders by performing model based design and constructability review, clash detection and visualization
• Manage and develop Revit models to contain COBie data for asset management
• Conduct VR walkthroughs of the future built asset with the client to address design concerns
