Warehouse Supervisor
Description
Responsibilities
To assist the Warehouse Operations Manager to plan and manage a team of operatives, to achieve daily workload, with total compliance to all legislation appertaining to Health & Safety, Food Quality and Safety, Employment Law and EU and company hygiene standards. Coaching and development of team members to deliver the Warehouse expectations.
Major duties & responsibilities:
+ Daily resource planning to achieve department objectives – review and adapt as required throughout the day
+ Liaising with Warehouse Shift Manager and on site trainer to ensure skill training requirements are being met.
+ Meeting the required deadlines – picking and loading
+ Manage the team to achieve handling rates
+ QIP – Making sure that the shift follow QIP guidelines and that daily paperwork complete. Raising product issues with the Quality Manager.
+ To ensure all cages picked and loaded meet MB standards.
