Drive impactful purchasing operations as a Purchasing Supervisor at West Parry Sound Health Centre. This full-time role focuses on optimizing inventory and coordinating departmental activities.
This position offers an opportunity for experienced professionals in materials management within a healthcare context. Reporting to the Manager, you will lead purchasing efforts, manage staff, and handle day-to-day departmental functions as part of a recognized healthcare team in Parry Sound.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct and supervise Stores and Purchasing department staff
• Coordinate minor equipment repairs and parts orders
• Maintain appropriate inventory through purchase orders
• Ensure invoice reconciliation with Finance duties
• Develop preventive maintenance databases with external vendors
Requirements:
• Post-secondary certification in Business/Office Administration
• At least five years in a health care environment
