* Multiple roles available based in based in Melbourne CBD earning $97,429 to $109,593 per year, plus superannuation
* Provide sound, quality advice to the courts relating to criminal proceedings of young people
* Help promote contribute to the rehabilitation of individuals leading to greater community safety
What you will do
As a Youth Justice Court Advice Worker provides expert advice to courts, other professionals, services and young people and their families, in relation to criminal proceedings involving young people. The Youth Justice Court Advice Worker forms part of the Youth Justice Court Advice Service (YJCAS) representing Youth Justice, provide advice to the court and stakeholders, and delivering assessments and interventions when required.
This role will require in-person presence at any Courts requiring Youth Justice representation. The role also provides operational support on Court advice matters to regional Youth Justice teams as needed.
